Gear Checklist
| I think this list is pretty complete, however please let me know if you think I've left something out. It might be an excellent idea to print this list and check things off as you pack them. |
The Basics:
- Computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse
- Power cords for the above
- Joystick, gamepad, or other game controllers
- Headphones (preferable), or speakers
- Game CD-ROMs/DVD-ROMs
- Power Strip/Extension Cord/Network Cable (If available. If not, no big deal.)
- Headset or microphone
- Blank CDs
- Network Hub/Switch
- Comfortable chair
- Snacks
- Operating System CD / Driver CDs
- Pillow/sleeping bag (In case you decide to fall asleep on the floor)
- Cash (Always good to have some cash!)
- Your broadband router (Unless you've disabled its' DHCP server PRIOR to plugging it in)
- Any computer hardware that won't be used for gaming
